Just like the Coup D'etat, the Diamond PoV usurps the power of the current HoH.
This means that the current HoH becomes eligible to play in the next HoH competition; just as Chima did when Jeff used the Coup D'etat to change her nominations.
Since there are no "official" rules posted, I'm assuming this is the case, however, I could be wrong.
I guess the only way we'll know for sure is if Matt uses it on Thursday night.
i was wondering where you got the idea if matt uses the DPOV that brendan gets to play in the next HOH. I did not hear that. At first I thought he should put up brit and let her go home because she would. I actually don't like matt or brit and I think the brigade is going to be pissed when they find out that matt has this power that he has not told them and that he been hanging more with ragen. I think brit and matt need to go....I really hope that hayden wins I think he is playing the game very well.
Reguardless if he uses the DPOV or not Brendon i don't think can play in the HOH comp even if he can it won't matter cause he not smart enough for the quizzes. I would LOVE for Matt to flip the house and put Enzo on the block especially if word trickles out that Hayden and Enzo pushed for Matt to go on the block as replacement. Brendon can tell Matt that they pushed for it not nowing Matt has DPOV and then Matt uses it on Enzo and gets him out. People who don't win anything (Lane, Enzo, Hayden, Kathy) shouldn't be sticking in the game long. I don't count Hayden first HOH as a win cause Matt let him have it.
In a strange way, it's better for Brendon to put Matt on the block, rather than Britney, only because it will force Matt to use the Diamond PoV to save himself, and subsequently assure that Brendon gets to play in the HoH competition.
Of course, nobody knows who Matt will name as his replacement, but if he goes along with The Brigade's desire to get rid of Britney, he'll name her, however, if he's trying to distance himself from those guys, he may just nominate Kathy, in order to assure Ragan & Britney's allegiance, since they've been winning comps, and The Brigade hasn't.
Either way, Matt is on the out's with The Brigade, so unless he wins HoH or PoV next week, he's likely to be nominated it anyone other than Ragan or Britney wins HoH.
