Okay, I know some of you here are or were arguing about 'looks.' Like 'being sexy isn't always about looks' kind of thing. So....Edward is way too overprotective. So overprotective that he would leave Bella, believing it's for her own good, without even talking to her about it. What kind of guy does that? He also won't even let her see her best friend, because he is worried that he will hurt her, even though she wants to see him. You Twi-hards claim that Edward is the perfect guy, which in some aspects he is, but the overprotectiveness is just too much and (I don't know about you guys) but to me the perfect guy would also listen, and trust that I know what I'm doing, when Edward treats Bella like a five year old kid. Now Damon....Damon is the bad boy of TVD. Wherever there is trouble, you will find Damon there. But, rarely, you will see that he is not the 'bad boy' that he really claims to be. He really does care about Elena and Stefan. He just covers up his feelings because he doesn't want to get hurt. In my opinion he is more of a 'perfect guy' then Edward. I just love everything about him. GO DAMON!!!!!

I've read both the 'Twilight' and 'TVD' series and as far as characters go, I think Damon is VASTLY superior to Edward in every way - even in the onscreen portrayal. Edward is kind to Bella but I don't really see anything else that is interesting about him. I don't find him cute at all!
Damon is drop-dead gorgeous (no pun intended) and even though he possesses a dark side, he knows how to have fun and is a better developed character than Edward. He has many different layers to him but with Edward I only see his caring for Bella as his main strength.

I mean he embodies sexy beast to a tee and even though, I love, love, love Edward, I am definitely putting my vote with Damon. Now if it were Rob against Ian, it would be Rob all the way, baby. @Britt - Rob says things like that because he is funny and he can joke about stuff like that. ANYONE who has met him and his co-stars and friends and family ALL say that he is extremely hygenic and can even be a little OC about stuff like that. Rob actually HAS A PERSONALITY in his interviews and he doesn't conform to how everyone thinks they should in Hollywood. That is why he has such a huge following. Rob is sweet, funny, very serious about his work, lovely to his fans and is always, always ready to defend and support his fellow co-stars or anyone for that matter. Damon, duh! Damon should actually win the title of Sex God lol. Damon/Ian oozes sex appeal on the inside and out! Ian was made for the role of Damon - he puts more life into his character than Rob does with his own! Damon looks good without even trying. And everything about his is so sexy...his voice, the eye thing he does (which is actually an Ian thing!), his characteristics, the way he carries himself. Oh and his abs are real! Mmm mmm! Ian is sexy even with scruff! He never fails to be sexy!! Okay, I know some of you here are or were arguing about 'looks.' Like 'being sexy isn't always about looks' kind of thing. So....Edward is way too overprotective. So overprotective that he would leave Bella, believing it's for her own good, without even talking to her about it. What kind of guy does that? He also won't even let her see her best friend, because he is worried that he will hurt her, even though she wants to see him. You Twi-hards claim that Edward is the perfect guy, which in some aspects he is, but the overprotectiveness is just too much and (I don't know about you guys) but to me the perfect guy would also listen, and trust that I know what I'm doing, when Edward treats Bella like a five year old kid. I've read both the 'Twilight' and 'TVD' series and as far as characters go, I think Damon is VASTLY superior to Edward in every way - even in the onscreen portrayal. Edward is kind to Bella but I don't really see anything else that is interesting about him. I don't find him cute at all!
Damon is drop-dead gorgeous (no pun intended) and even though he possesses a dark side, he knows how to have fun and is a better developed character than Edward. He has many different layers to him but with Edward I only see his caring for Bella as his main strength.

OMG guys. On the main page, some Twitard just tried to call Damon an Edward wannabe. Before any other Twitards say anything, The Vampire Diaries books were published more then 10 years before Twilight was first published. The only character that Edward is similar to is Stefan - who was created first.
@Elise- ian does not flaunt anything. when you ACTUALLY CARE that's how u do it. u rally support. u get as much people involved in it that possibly can. you bring ATTENTION to the situation. so the fact that rob doesn't flaunt and no one knows about his charity work means that he does not care enough. rob is a "puppet." he does whatever his publicity team tells him will look good. and then when it's said and done, he forgets all about it. ian somerhalder genuinely cares about his charities and helping people. all his tweets are about that.
I apologise for calling you a jackass, Katy. But just because Ian devotes all his time to saving the planet, does not mean that he is better than Rob. Rob helps out in many different charities, and you are also forgetting that Rob is a hell of alot younger than Ian, maybe when he is Ian's age he to will devote all his time to helping this planet be better. And as for you saying Ian is sexier, well that is all in the eye of the beholder. To me Rob is far sexier.
Wow, you're getting strangely upset over a celebrity. I understand that Rob does charity but Ian has literally devoted himself to it. And why is it flaunting his work when he's just trying to raise awareness to others by showing a good example? Ian's hotter, more talented, more generous...He has this in the bag.

Rob helped with the Haiti earthquake tradgey, he took calls and he is also involved in a movement to stop the expoit of children for sex trafficking, just because he doesn't flaunt it like Ian does, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Elise, you're talking out of your ass. Do you have any idea how selfless Ian is? He spent his entire summer at The Gulf, trying to take care of the people and animals suffering from the oil leak. He also participated in the Larry King telethon to collect funds for Louisiana. In addition, his Twitter page is basically dedicated to helping others. Name one other thing that Rob has done that even compares to that!

@Britt - Rob says things like that because he is funny and he can joke about stuff like that. ANYONE who has met him and his co-stars and friends and family ALL say that he is extremely hygenic and can even be a little OC about stuff like that. Rob actually HAS A PERSONALITY in his interviews and he doesn't conform to how everyone thinks they should in Hollywood. That is why he has such a huge following. Rob is sweet, funny, very serious about his work, lovely to his fans and is always, always ready to defend and support his fellow co-stars or anyone for that matter. Infact he would probably tell everyone to vote for Damon in this poll and %110 MEAN it, whereas Ian would probably go on and on about voting for him. Rob is just sexier!!

Damon, duh! Damon should actually win the title of Sex God lol. Damon/Ian oozes sex appeal on the inside and out! Ian was made for the role of Damon - he puts more life into his character than Rob does with his own! Damon looks good without even trying. And everything about his is so sexy...his voice, the eye thing he does (which is actually an Ian thing!), his characteristics, the way he carries himself. Oh and his abs are real! Mmm mmm! Ian is sexy even with scruff! He never fails to be sexy!! And he's done so much for animal rights, the environment and what's been happening with the BP oil spill he and his character definitely deserves this. Edward/Rob can take his emo-sparkling self and have a shower ;)
