I vote for Moral and social values, social education would mean the same as well. I want to see my kid as a good social human being with good helping nature. 5 values you should never forget in your life.
1. See that no one is hurt physically or mentally because of you.
2. Take good care of your parents
3. Respect your teachers without them you are equal to any other animal
4. Respect your elders, they share their experience with you. Now its for you to explore further
5. If you can help others that will earn you a very peaceful heart.
If I am able to get these things in practice for my kid, she has learnt enough for her lifetime.
The very purpose of going to school is to gain education. In our present day educational sysytem , no doubt the syllubus contains all the aspects of moral and social values. . So if academic rigour is there all the below will follow by themselves.
I feel a good school should have a healthy mix of all the above criteria.One in isolation without the other would be meaningless.For eg a school has good infrastructure facilities but incompetent faculty then the facilities wiil not be put to the best use.Achild also needs to be encouraged in extra-curricular activities and also be taught social and religious values in order for him to become a well rounded individual.
i feel to start with education is nothing but knowing about you and about your society, if a child is given education with morals and values for the society it workes like fertilizor to a growing plant so that it can grow into a healthy tree so that it will give shade to otheres
