Abolition of HRA exemption is a definite blow to us.
As far as Tax slabs are concerned, I never really believed it would happen. Income Tax is a easy money and no government have to heart to get it reduced.
All these tax slabs, i think, got to be clubbed with real INFLATION and not that pseudo WPI stats.
And Secondly consistancy of TAX STRUCTURE got to be maintained; not every time / year, some hype is created by the FM for some relief, concession et al.
As any change / addition / alteration does effect the real tax payer, and in turn its real pay / profit.
So rather than this, why TDS is system is not widen and its efficacy got to be more stringent.
I hope this could be more tax collection savvy, and comfortable to both payee and collector of taxes.
Let us wait and watch what the Parliament decides upon
