Toots, because it's short for tutorial. 'Tut' isn't it's own word, it is an abbreviation and 'Tuts' is a collective of the abbreviation.

Chewts for me - a Brit - short for chew-tor-reals

  • Jeprie - 16 years ago

It suppose to be toots, but I've seen Collis in his video called it tuts (like nut or butt).

I typically cringe/giggle when I here people say "toots" because this is something I have been thinking about for a while.

Tuts > Toots, for the non-socially-awkward-geeky win.

    Tu - to - rial

Yes, the Tu makes sense to pronounce, too, but as it stands, it's Tut, just like king Tut. Tuts = Nuts

It's an abbr. idiots. It's not a word in and of itself so you should pronounce it Toots.

@Roger Tut = For shame! That works if you view PSD's with disdain like me.

I pronounce it 'Tuts' like nuts with a t because that's how it I read it as a single word, I know it is a shortened version of t'oo'torial but i think as a separate word it would be spelled toots if i were to pronounce it like that..I'm English if that changes anything.

I say "tutes" / "tyoots", as in how I would say the beginning of "tutorial" (I guess it's the British way? Though I'm an Aussie)

  • Craig - 16 years ago

I voted Toots as for it to be Tuts (as in Nuts) it would be tuttorial we were shortening, no?

  • Ogvidius - 16 years ago

I pronounce it "tyoots" or "choots" (as in, how us brits say tutorials) I guess it's the English equivalent of Toots!

  • roger - 16 years ago

Personally I say it as in Tut http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Tut

  • P - 16 years ago

"Toots" because it's a shortened form of tutorial, right?

  • Evan - 16 years ago

I would have to say net"toots", as Too-torial is the correct pronunciation of the word. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Tutorial :)

  • eugeniaclara - 16 years ago

  • svt - 16 years ago
