I like the body on frame much better. But I know that the trend in the market is uni-body. whatever you decide to do, PLEASE send survey's to ALL of your current GM customers and get their feedback. Even though I do not own a compact truck ...but a 1/2 ton Sierra. My next purchase will be a compact. If it looks like a foreign made vehicle, I will not purchase it. So please listen to your customers and non-customers before designing or changing the compact. I am thinking that most of the comments you will get will be more about MPG than design. I am with them. We need more MPG but we don't need MORE CROSSOVERS
