Even if the Westside Subway Extension does not make a big dent in the region's traffic, do you think it's worth spending $4 billion-plus to build it?

    We have tens of billions allocated to highways in L.A. over the next 30 years. THAT is a massive subsidy. It only makes sense that we spend some money on our rail system. The Westside Subway will be a boon to our economy for decades. Let's build it now and not wait any longer.

    I believe that the subway should be built to quickly and reliably move people from one point to another; not so that a person can know that since other people are taking the subway, there would be more room on the freeway for himself.
