In response to the suggestions for important posts, I think the Lounge should:

Find a new "theme" that has two or three columns.

Put a new page along the top for really important topics, as well as committees.

Add a menu item on the left side of the home page for particular category tags.

Leave it be and tell the belly-achers to scroll.
