Well, people, I have acted as OPFOR in US Army training scenarios....am I immoral for that? Once again someone with no common sense is pulling the strings. And besides, what's to stop family and friends from sending their troops this game? Are NCOs supposed to police the barracks with a blacklist of games not to be played? Are we communist? To have a war or even a battle you kinda need two opposing factions. Last time I checked anyhow. And why is Korea the only war to not get its own game titles? Whats up with that....I for one would LOVE to mow down waves of Communist Chinese and NK troops....

In military training scenarios we train on both sides, in law enforcement force on force training many times i have been the perp. In the first gulf war many troops were not allowed to carry a loaded magazine in their weapon, it's not that way now. Some children and teenagers are literally being raised by vidio games, when there is lack of parenting the youth will find leadership elsewhere, maybe if you play the taliban you might grow up to be an american that used to play vidio games. let's all climb on our high horse and beat the drum aigainst this vidio game, after all it is great publicity for the gaming companies bottom line. Maybe mom and dad should play the game with junior and make an adult decision in their own home, plus it would be fun.

When are we going to realize that our men- (and women-) in-arms are adults, responsible for their own viewpoints and actions, not children, who need to be coddled?? If we can trust them with guns and artillery, while they are placing their very lives on the line every day, can't we have confidence in them to know who the enemy is, even if they take the position of the enemy while playing a game?? It's a GAME, people . . . . . . .and they VOLUNTEERED to serve in the military!!

As a conservative momma of three grown sons, I gradually realized, during their evolution from diaper-wearers into responsible young men, how erroneous my belief was that if I merely restricted them from having or playing with toy guns as little boys, somehow they would lose their interest in guns. NOT!! They made guns from sandwiches, apples, legos, sticks, their fingers, any item they could imagine, truly!! Far more slowly than they would have liked, I finally gave up my useless restriction about the time my oldest became a teen. Today, each of my three sons, the oldest of whom has been a USAF pilot for five years, are responsible, productive contributors to society and ALL OWN (and, of course, USE) GUNS!!!

Since the members of our military are NOT children or pre-teens, THIS RESTRICTION IS RIDICULOUS!! LET'S TREAT THEM AS IF THEY WERE THE RESPONSIBLE ADULTS THEY ACTUALLY ARE!!
