What is the youngest age you'd let babysit your newborn twins?

As important as age is, experience and training is also important. No kidding - I'd require CPR/FA certification, and iif younger than 18 , even with experience, probably 2 sitters, one per child. Asking an inexperienced person to care for ONE newborn is not a good idea in my book either. I'm wiring as one whose first child was a 28 week preemie who spent 14 weeks in the hospital, so have some experience with knowing what it's like to find in-home child care for day care, and occasional evening sitting - for us, we used an adult, experienced sitter until our first son was at least 2.
