I eat pumpkin pie only during the holidays and look forward to it all year. Bless her, my maternal grandmother made incredible pumpkin pies. All her pies were excellent. Her pies were know for their flaky crusts. Crisco did her proud every time!

Pumpkin Cheesecake all the way baby! Sweet potato pie is wonderful if you know someone that knows how to make them; they're much richer than pumpkin pie!

Sweet Potato pie. Tastes like Punkin Pie but is smoother. Oh ya lots of 'Calf Slobber' as my dad would say.

The one pie that I look forward to at Thanksgiving is Buttermilk pie. Also like chocolate and gooseberry. Chocolate I can get any time, gooseberry not so often.
