If you’ve noticed your concierge patients do better when taking their Rx meds, what do you think accounts for this change?

  • I spend more time explaining the importance of medication compliance.

  • The patient has more confidence in my recommendations and will follow them.

  • I follow up personally to ask about medication use and side effects, and to encourage compliance.

  • I don’t think my concierge patients are any better at following their medication plan than other patients.

Compliance has a direct correlation to patient understanding. If individuals understand that illness does not always feel "bad" and that medicines do not always make you feel "good" but there are silent benefits that need to be detailed and explained as well as making the dosing and frequency fit their personal lifestyle. Adherence to medical recommendations increases tremendously!
