Why Do Black People Care About The Oscars?
Black people believe talented black actors deserve the opportunity to win the film industry's top award which is the Academy Award.
Some Black people are psychologically enslaved they believe they are inferior to whites. The Oscar provides blacks with validation a feeling of belonging.
I am uncertain the real reason blacks want black actors to win Academy awards.
The Academy Awards is just an opportunity for rich snobs to pat each other on the back an Oscar has no social value or importance.
Tyler Perry is the only black person in Hollywood that is actually trying to change the system.
