Why Are Lesbians Earning More Money Than Heterosexual Women?

Well the answer is obvious straight women are more likely to have a family than lesbians therefore less opportunity to earn income.

Perhaps lesbians are more likely to take on non traditional female jobs than straight women to make a living?

Since heterosexual women tend to have male partners maybe more lesbians are single and they realize they have to help themselves?

I am uncertain the real reasons why lesbians earn more money than heterosexual women?

Maybe feminism is a factor perhaps more lesbians are feminists and they are more empowered to work and not depend on a man to take care of them?
