Who knows...maybe for Andrew Luck, football isn't the be all and end all to life. Maybe, just maybe, he's taking the longer view of life, and saying to himself, "what happens AFTER football; what do I really WANT to do." Perhaps he's taken a look at how life in the NFL has treated Vince Young and Matt Leinart and decided that in the long run, he wants to be the one in charge of his life.

By definition your an idiot and hes a bigger idiot. He has the opportunity to set up himself for life financial and his kids and his kids kids. After the NFL negotiates the new contracts the first thing that is going are the rookies ridiculous pay.

By definition it is the right decision since it's his decision. How can someone else make that kind of decision for you?

Playing football is a way of life. You play because you love it, you love to compete, you love the fact that you are a member of a team. When you are fortunate enough to make it a career you need to take advantage of it. Move on to "higher ground" to do what you love, to compete and be part of a team. Luck needs to realize life is short, golden opportunities are few and far between. Take your talent to the next level and win your championships there while you are able.
