Itajuba, located in the southern of Minas Gerais state, had faced a great moment. With an well educated people because of the federal engineering university (www.unifei.edu.br) and other important colleges, it has been just announced the expansion of Helibras (a branch of EADS responsible to manufacture helicopters in the Latin America) and also the opening of a Siemens site.

With these recent investments and also with the recent studies to build up an airport in this city, Itajuba has a great chance to play an important hole in attracting new investments to southern Minas Gerais region.
