the main point is not juste about ron artest but is time to revise your all team this season most of the team are playing well if u want to win this season first the gm et phil needto stop making poor decision.u need to trade d fisher, andrew banum, walton, artest, matt barns

  • paul moseley - 13 years ago

trade luke walton he is the worst in the nba he only there because his father he cant do anything he cant shoot or rebound he to slow to play defense every time he on the court he is a liability he is straight up buster

  • Kris Saucedo - 13 years ago

I want to trade him to CHICAGO Bulls from Lakers. He would like to be back with former team and help bulls into the finals!

  • latea - 13 years ago

ron artest is a troubled individual and needs to be traded, but misery does love company... so what ever. he is no good anyways as far as basketball goes.

  • aaron - 13 years ago

i say dont even worry about artest getting traded or not traded....hes just talk...i say he stay with the Lakers and keep winning championships

  • Chris - 13 years ago

    @ almost everyone
No one is going to trade for Walton, he is owed way too much money and still has at least 2 years on his deal I think. Lakers dont need Artest offensively really. What he brings to the team defensively is very important. Only way I would consider trading him is for Blake Griffin (never going to happen) or maybe a deal with him and Bynum for Carmelo (could actually happen).

lakers luke walton, theo ratliff, steve blake,d-fish,lamar odom should be traded in exchange for blake griffin, deron williams and ben wallace..i think this roster will be more tougher and has an edge over every game..common lakers gm do it now if u want another title..go lakers

  • paul - 13 years ago

    do not trade ron artest

  • cleem - 13 years ago

Trade Walton, Blake, and Ratlift...... lakers need a point guard to make play run offense to layup or make more some assist to teammates,.. Also need smallforward for lakers like Ariza or anyone high flying and have defense to running offense with teammates Kobe Bryant...... Luke Walton is slow running offense with KObe Bryant for fastbreak,...

  • DC De Leon - 13 years ago

Trade Him only if they Offer Carmelo Anthony...xD

  • alex - 13 years ago

i would trade Gasol and Bynum....we need aggressive players!!!

  • bonafiedgee - 13 years ago

Trade Artest, Walton, Fisher, Blake, Ratliff to get a back up for Bynum like Diop from Charlotte, somebody like Kenyon Martin or Kevin Love who can add toughness a scoring guard like Curry or maybe Billups for now, maybe try to get Rip to come off the bench with Odom cuz he is better coming off the bench at least for L.A, and resign a guard they released at the beginning of the year who has unlimited range in Anthony Roberson.

i like artest and he is good but u trade him n bynum for a younger person just to make the team more exciting

Whose going to guard Durant in the playoffs if you trade Ron Ron. Kobe will sort him out. Just another year where they are bored waiting for the last twenty games plus playoffs. Midseaon is the lakers offseason.

Just head office trying to scare them in to playing better after losing at home to the east threats.

I say they wont make a deal. Who would give up an asset for Ron? Not many teams. Sorry but Ron is missing a lot of shots & temperamental. He needs the playoffs to wake him out of his funk. If he does leave he may regreat selling his ring.

Also Bynum on way back from another injury & with Celtics so big in the middle Bynum is a must for the playoffs.

Bynum missing - Loose to C's
Bynum on leg - Game 7 win over C's - When Perkins went down (massive) & KG still ginger

  • Toothdecay - 13 years ago

Trade Ron because I'm a celtics fan, hahaha!

  • DeMorris - 13 years ago

Trade Ron Ron because he pretty garbage to me missing layup and wide open three's

  • theman132 - 13 years ago

trade someone, i dont know, luke walton, derek fisher, for guys like tracy mcgrady, he can do well the point guard and have good defence, but if you want to trade ron antest, you should get something like andre iguadala, like that i can see the lakers more benefit from a deal.

  • kikiriki - 13 years ago

I feel that Ron belong amoung lakers ! He will be important player in the most important moments in play-off! So don't trade him! This is just a temptation for Lakers, and they have to overcome in this way!

we can weather the storm wiyh Artest, the problem is the point guard,I love ya D-Fish, but you can't stay in front of the younger piont guards in the leauge anymore.Lakers need a scoring threat at the point position to keep teams honest on defense and not be able to double Gasol, Kobe or Odom at any given time, also a point who can defend the penitration of the piont guard for easy layups or getting the bigmen to commit once Fish gets blown by.Brown is not a true piont and Blake doesn't have the respect of these young guards, they all think they can take him.Luke Walton,Why keep him?Trade for someone consistent that can bring it every game. (True Long time Laker Fan)

  • killCRV - 13 years ago

in my opinion we don't need to trade artest we need to trade walton like so many ppl are suggesting i believe we should have kept ariza instead of dropping him cause ariza had so much upside and look what he is doing for the hornets right now nothing but good things

  • Me - 13 years ago

trade luke he's garbage the Lakers can find some1 else to screw up

  • John Sotelo - 13 years ago

Don't trade him are you guys crazy that would be the biggest mistake ever you know why because Ron Artest saved us last year and help us win the championship it would not be a good choice don't trade him

  • Mathias - 13 years ago

trade ron artest to the magics for quentin richardson and cash consideration , then make him start

  • BallHoGz - 13 years ago

Im not a Lakers fan but trading Artest wouldnt be a good choice

  • Carmen - 13 years ago

TRADE WALTON ! Not Artest ! Artest is such an aggressive player, walton is not even consistent, he's not playing well these last few years....If I was the GM, I would've trade him a long time ago. He was good in 2006-07, but from there, his game just went down...AND he's the son of a celtics ! hahahahaa ;)

  • RODNEY GARNER - 13 years ago

IF I WAS THE GM I WOULD TRADE BYNUM @ RON ARTIST FOR KEVIN LOVE, AND A PLAYER TO BE NAME LATER GASOL WILL BECOME THE CENTER BUT WITH KEVIN LOVE IN THE LINE UP IT CAN'T DO NOTHING BUT HELP.

  • buffalo soldier - 13 years ago

Why hasn't Luke Walton been traded yet? Yeah, he's a good facilitator, but he isn't consistant either.

  • hoopinallday - 13 years ago

Ron Artest is expendable, if Andrew Bynum Doesnt Pick it up he is to, this coming from a die hard laker fan, if Pau wasnt so talented i say him too. Or Dont trade Ron, but he isn't playing like at the level that he should, and Lamar could start at the three any night for Ron Artest. I know if Andrew Bynum is included in that trade I am sure we can get a good ,young, talented player back, that looks like they play hard every game; Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, Blake Griffin( Blake is a reach), but it could happen the Lakers have pieces.

  • ahmed hassan - 13 years ago

THIS POLL IS VERY BIAS NOT TO MENTION DOWNRIGHT DEGRATING TO RON "Trade him. Enough is enough. You've already got one title with him. Don't push your luck."
THOUGH EVEN I VOTED TRADE HIM IM LOOKING AT IT NOT FROM A LAKERS POINT VIEW BUT RON JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN AND HAVE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT SO I SAY "TRADE HIM BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BE TRADED "

  • cris - 13 years ago

If you dont remember ron artest hit both game winning and critical bakets in last years playoff run...if it wasnt for him the lakers might have lost the finals.. .
