No drinks on the table but some foods are ok. Absolutely no greasy or orange cheese food anywhere near the table. I play with a lot of teens, so I need to be strict about it, they don't see the harm. I buy less snacks such as twizzlers, M&Ms, pretzels, things like that.

Chuck hit the nail on the head.
Although I have lightened up with my non-gamer friends. If we're drinking booze and playing light games like For Sale or Bang, then only greasy fingers are a no go.
Nice site BTW, although you should really get rid of that Thornquist character, he's got bigger fish to fry;-)

Drinks and food at a side table, and lots of napkins to keep hands clean!
Obviously you have to play with people that are respectful to try to take good care of your stuff, though.

Drinks go on drink tables **next to the game table**, but finger food like nuts and M&Ms, and dessert plates with forks or spoons are allowed on the table. No pizza or greasy food.
