I just don't see how the post office on Main Street can handle anymore business than they
have at the present time. There is never any parking and when I have managed to get
inside the lines were very long - one time it was almost 20 minutes before it became my
turn at the window.
There are a lot of box holders, myself included, who will decide not to renew rather than trek all the way to Main Street everytime they need to check their box so that means more
lost revenue for the postal service.
Also people in the community have complained for some time now about the bad home delivery so it seems we will see more and more problems.
If they are planning on closing the post office sometime in March I wonder if we have
time to reverse their decision or if, like a lot of things, the decision is made and nothing
we say will matter.
