Careful what you ask for. If whole foods walks- THAT's what we'll get, a high volume liquor store.
Never forget the law of unintended consequences guys.
There is already a stop and shop 5 blocks away, so no other market in that general category will take the space - they have certainly looked at it and said no way can they compete with stop and shop.
So what is left? What other big box retailer has the deep pockets to pay $50,000/month stock the shelves (what could THAT cost) and pay 100 people?? (100 people at $10 hour X 40 hours = $40,000/week!)
A high volume liquor store - that's what we'll get. Never forget the law of unintended consequences guys!
I didnt hear a single person say they had that kind of cash to open any alternative kind of store in month! If they did, they spoke very softly!
