I have two boxes not mailed yet. Is it too late? should I hold?

I clicked on "the poor" because it seems that widows and orphans seem to fall in that category. Anytime a famial member that supports the family is removed that family falls on hard times.
Does this mean the 500 bundle total was reached? If yes, Great! If no, I think I can put together some more.

I also agree with Kathleen. Every group mentioned in the poll is worthy of help. Being there, you have a much better grasp of where boxes containing mainly fabric and yarn will best be utilized.

Agree with Kathleen Killinger. But, would it be possible for a future IBOL to include some person-to-person contact between the sender and the receiver of the bundle? I know pen pals are so retro, but understanding and contact between individuals promotes a more peaceful atmosphere. The quilters I am familiar with are so generous with their time and talents--this would surely shine through even at a distance.

What a difficult question to answer! My thought would be that you, there and in the thick of it, would have a better idea about best use than me, here in the States.
