I prefer the longer more considered pieces, as that's were the value/understanding lies. Good quality. topic-based articles are often hard to come across.
Alongside that, for your more up-to-the second thinking/thoughts or "that's looks interesting", twitter is ideal. These just form part of the daily stream, and I can choose which stick or not.
