Before today having never seen them play together I doubted it could work without the overly physical presence of a Vidic type. But today I thought both performed admirably and the partnership worked well. The future looks bright. I think Evans will be back to his best after his ban judging from todays performance. There was obviously something going on with him at the start of the season that was affecting his football. Hopefully he and all us judgmental fans can move on. He is still the future for United.
