Thank you, Linda. I feel so fortunate not to have to create my own starter. It was an amazing gift. I keep wondering if there's a way to ship starter--maybe when it's really cold?
As for the Lyme, I was really hoping I was done, but I'll soldier on.
I'm really interested in trying sourdough bread and other baking starters, like Sally Lunn bread. I've tried to capture my own yeast but didn't follow the directions well enough. I'm looking forward to reading about your experiences. And I hope you beat the Lyme disease soonest!
