Assuming your taxes are paying for it, should schools have music on the curriculum?
Anything that detracts from the skills of reading, writing and arithmetic is a waste of time and I'm not paying it out of my taxes.
Yes, it's very important, all pupils should know how to read music and play at least one instrument
It is not a serious subject, so a bit of singing in lower grades is OK, but then I'd leave it for parents to pay privately if they wanted more
It's important, but only for children who want it, it should be an option just for those with an aptitude
