We must not only consider this a matter of money vs. open space, but a matter of preserving a beloved home to dozens of horses. This is a place where my children and I have visited and cherished for years. Although we do not own or board horses here, we walk by Stevenson’s on our way home almost every day to admire the horses and feed them carrots. It would be tragic for us (and many others who I know that do the same) to lose this tradition. Stevenson’s is a unique and beautiful place that should be preserved for as long as humanly possible.
