I went to college and I currently have the career I've always wanted. I can afford my student loan payments and it is not a struggle with the other expenses I have. I don't think college is a rip off, I also don't think college is for everyone. Depending on what you want to do college is needed. I found college to be necessary to put yourself over others who do not have that degree. In my experience I've felt College give you an array of options without college your options are limited.

I definitely believe that college is not a rip off. Yes, I did go to colleg and got a job in my studies. I believe as parents we should guide our children to move into a carer that is fulfilling to them whether it pays very little or very high. We need to change the focus from making gobs of money to doing something that is going to be rewarding to them. Education is something no one can take from you, money comes and goes, happiness and fulfillment is the ultimate reward in any career choice
