Isn't it about time to stop complaining about noise levels in Toronto restaurants?

I've been to a few restaurants where the music pumping into the place was enough to make it next to impossible to carry a conversation, and I've never returned. But when it is just general chit-chat, it becomes more of a scene and be seen scenario, and it makes it part of the experience.
I've actually met people and had conversations with them, because of an overheard comment or a reaction to something that was on the TV above us. I think if you want to have a personal quiet meal, stay at home.
