X-box sux. Ive owned one and let me tell you, Microsoft has NOTHING on Sony. I have always been a die hard Playstation lover and will NEVER give up on Sony. Most people would agree so keep up the good work Sony. As long as Playstation exsists i will keep buying them. I will NEVER buy another X- box or even play one as long as Sony is around. Yeah it sucks that the PSN is down but hey, its a free luxury that Sony gives us so we can play online, amongst other things. And since this incident happened it will most likely be better than ever. YAY!!!!!!! Cant wait to get back online guys, keep up the good hard work. And thanks for not making us pay to use your service unlike X- box.

i would never leave ps3. and to those who argue that x box has never been shut down, it never has been because the management doesent care about the players, (the true gamers) the management of x box only cares about profit. ps3 shut down because they dont want our info with anyone and want to improve the network so it cant be cheated in gameplay.

I have a ps3 and xbox and ps3 is so much better I mean I treated my xbox with utmost care and it got the red ring after two weeks of only playing an hour a day.

I think all of you out there that think xbox is bad is stupid because look at the facts xbox never has got hacked and everyones NAT type is open which is very good as for PSN my NAT type is moderate so it impacts my matchmaking. Im starting to wonder if paying for internet for xbox would be better than having it for free on PSN.

you said developers prefer making games on the xbox, but that's just for the money. Just because more people have an xbox so they can sell more of their game. Plus, a ps3 pays for itself with the free online, xbox is more expensive than a ps3 after maybe 2 years of online play.
I am a loyal ps user I have all 3 of them. The main reson for me for buying the ps3 was the free online play. I only bought it about 1 year ago, but i never heard of anything bad about the system. My friend has an xbox and he's had nothing but problems with it, so it was a definet no for me. It is annoying that the net work is down and for so long but its not sonys fault to want to make sure that the system is completely fixed and secure before it is turned on again. Im just hoping that my psn card will still be good, I bought it on the 21st unaware of the problem, so now it just sits on my table. Whaa, :/ I wanted to down load first strike for black ops.
I will never switch to microsoft. I will always be loyal to sony because i think that is an excellent company. This is the only time sony has been hacked. I love my asian console.

Your comment made me laugh. You're right about some things, and ignorant about others. While the Xbox has been hacked, and been hacked for awhile. It hasn't been shut down, and the users data has not been compromised. The worse is that people play pirated games, and hack leader boards. Nothing that would affect other users. As for your article, even the article says it's just numbers. While the PS3 does have better specs, that doesn't include software. Not only is the UI sluggish and not streamlined, even the developers of games prefer to make games on the Xbox. It's just harder to program for the PS3. There are many other aspects you have to look at other than numbers. That's why more people buy Xbox and why more people play on Xbox. It's fun, easy, and cheap HEHE
