linda: I have only 2 screen names this one and one other on another site that you are trying to guess.....since you like to give me all kinds of advice, let me reciprorate, here a piece of advice for you, if you can grasp it - It is wiser to keep you mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and prove that you are !! Like someone said above alex has a long way to go to even get close to the big boys...Face the fact that no one is going to bankroll someone who sells less than 100,000 albums. Even then it is iffy. what does alex have, maybe, maybe 200 hardcore fans, and 2/3 of them wouldnt pay for the album. 18,000 followers on twitter translates to 70 paying customers....Of course he could pay ark music 4000 dollars and become famous.....

I just want to say how much fun I’ve had voting…..and yes, I’ll admit I voted more than once in some very creative ways. Glad to hear that others have done the same. I am very passionate about Alex Lambert. I think he’s divine…I’m sure others of you feel the same way about the singer that you’re supporting. I’d like to think we have a friendly rivalry going on here in Idol World. Truly I wish the best to all the singers represented in this poll. If Danny is successful in his career, it really doesn’t take anything away from Alex. So yes, I hope Danny has many years of success.

Susan, I’ll speak to you directly if you don’t mind. I will admit I have been madly in love with Alex Lambert for over a year. Interestingly enough, you have been around for that whole year also. Spewing your hatred all along the way. You stalk his twitter, his fans’ twitter and his fansite. You post hateful things about him everywhere you can. You have made a career out of trying to poison the minds of everyone and anyone who shows any interest in Alex. It sounds very personal to me. If it helps, I would like to say how sorry I am for whatever horrific thing happened in your life to make you harbor such hatred for this one particular person. Whatever it was, I think it would be healthier for you to move on. I will never say that Alex is perfect. He has flaws just like everyone of us. And for others, I you haven't followed very close to Alexs career, other than what being blown out of proportion, he doing really well and on the right path...he has got a bright future and should wish him all the best as well as all the other great singers in this comp.
Wow, I am not a Danny Gokey fan (like, at all) but credit where it's due: Come Rain or Come Shine was one of the very best Idol performances.

alex is on the bottom of my list of american idols along with others - I think david cook and chris daughtery is way above him. alex has alot of growing up yet and has to learn to work at what he wants not just sit there and wait for it to be handed to him on a silver platter.
He is a one hit wonder kind of singer if even that only and will be be if he doesn't work at it. He doesn't give me goosbumps, he makes my skin crawl when he sings like nails on chalkboard.
susan, I fail to see how voting from different computers is cheating. And I highly doubt Alex's fans are the only ones doing that. Let's face it, any contestant with a solid fanbase is going to have fans who try to vote as many times as possible. (I'm not an Alex fan myself.)

I remember liking both of these performances when they were aired (I liked Gokey's one in spite of myself, he sounded great on it & I loved the song). Chosing between these two is difficult.
Gokey's performance stuck in my memory more, so I thought I would choose his performance - but then I listened to Lambert's one again & remembered how great he was.
I voted for Lambert in the end because his low key style is more my-kind-of-thing (he's the one I would have supported had he gone on).

I think its a mistake to assume , as a few did on the main comments page, that just because a boy is attractive- that's the only reason he got votes, and that's all there is to him- with Alex I found him to be a VERY talented vocalist, as well

Yes, Katherine Alex's Everybody Knows gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. His voice is just so gorgeous .....and that face ain't bad either. hehe.
