Scroll down to where it reads: "Some Gambling-Related Crime Statistics."

    Begin with:
" Within five years after the opening of the nearby Foxwoods Casino, the
annual number of calls to the Ledyard, Connecticut police department
    jumped from 4,000 to 16,700."

And, we haven't even mentioned Atlantic City.

Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are not known for rampant crime and drug use. What facts make you believe that these things will increase from the already high rates we have in the area if a casino is built? Please support your statement with facts!

Is, "The Plan," to have prostitution and drug use increase so much in
Dutchess County that officials will then chime-in that a new $200 million
plus jail is needed? Thanks, but no thanks. Dutchess County finances are
stressed enough without any of these pie-in-the-sky "plans." Real leadership
shouldn't depend on such outside gimmicks to help county taxpayers.

Low paying jobs and crime accompany casinos. No thanks.
