Just look at all the jobs the Poughkeepsie Journal has eliminated!

There should be an option for 'Absolutely" as an answer. 'Yes' is not strong enough. What's going on is a catastrophe. People can't find a decent full time job so they cobble together a salary by working multiple part time jobs. A small benefit was that many were able to do so in the same commpany...but now they aretold they cannot work more than 29.5 hrs in that company because of the regulations of the Affordable Care Act that anyone over 30 hrs must receive health care. To avoid depleting funds by paying healthcare, companies have simply restricted the maximum hours permitted to work. As a result, employees must spend limited resources traveling from workplace to worklace---if they can find alternative work at all. I'm constantly surprised at how little attention or discussion this situation has warranted. But ironically some of those most affected voted for Obama...Maybe that explains the silence
