One does not have to agree with everything a person in public office 100% to know they are doing a dang good job. John believes in God and I believe it goes a long way in his decisions.
Montgomery all the way! And it's pretty sad the Cyle place that was next door is still trashing the Sherriff, I mean really GET A DAMN LIFE! You seem to follow. Stock, and breath everything the Sherriff does or did, let it go what has happened has happened you look pathetic with all the bashing and stalking you do on his page and so on.. Seriously! Get a life! It's done and over with. Look into the future stop worrying about the damn past. Put you big girl panties on and get a hobby or something. All I see if you post about the Sherriff and I'm not even friends or nor do I even know you now that's sad. But all I ever see is you something cycle 24/7 bashing him. Talk about obsessed! Geez!
Let's see. Sex scandal. 5 helicopters. Trying to take credit for an arrest that used wasted helicopter to catch a man sitting at walmart. A freaking break in to an evidence room. I hope everyone knows every case is compromised now. A false arrest and business lost. And now this magness video in which he endorses the behavior. What is "not broke" about this.
I think it is time for a new sherif! I have reasons for this that are public so I'm wondering how all of u have forgot these issues!
1. We built a jail we didn't need and went in serious debt.
2. Where are all the drugs that disappeared from evidence and still have not been found???
3. Just weeks ago on the front page of the paper the sex scandal over the jail!!!
People all of these things did happen under Montgomery watch! And I didn't even begin to list it all the things that happened under his watch! so please stop and think before you vote!
I feel safe here like I've never felt safe anywhere else I've lived. I've lived on both coasts, all over Arkansas, and in Texas. The last time I felt this safe anywhere was a kid growing up in rural Jefferson County. Now wild horses couldn't get me to live there again because of all the crime. My vote will continue to be John Montgomery hands down.
I understand some folks concern with time limits holding an office; but.....If the current occupant is doing such a good job, why bother to change? What in the world could a new official accomplish that the current office holder has not? Sometimes there really is not to much of a good thing, even in politics. Just a long winded way of repeating "If it Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It" Sheriff Montgomery will always have my vote, as long as he keeps doing the great job he is doing now.
Just like all Western movies, it's time for a new sheriff in town. The "good ol boy" routine has gotten old.
I can't vote in Baxter,I live in Marion. I have always seen you as a fair and honest man. What more could we ask for in the county I work in.

Mr montgomery is a great sheriff. I love how much he cares about the kids around here...my 3 year old thinks he is a superhero

The sheriff's depth is working with great efficiency. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
While I do think Sheriff Montgomery has done a good job, I do think it's time for him to step aside and let someone else take the reigns. I know this is my personal opinion but I think all elected officials should have term limits.
There is no dough who. Our county is well protected By our currant Sheriff John Montgomery. John keep up the good work you and your staff are doing.
Sheriff Montgomery is honest and fair and invested in the community. I feel whole heartedly that he should remain sheriff!!!
Me. Montgomery has been an awesome Sheriff, roll model and caring sheriff he has done more as sheriff than any other!
