So Fire Eyes, what you are saying is that we should all become Church of England followers, since that is what George W. was. Of course that is the National Church of England which he just defeated in battle to win independence. George was more a Mason than a religious person. According to his diaries, he only attended church about 14-18 times a year after he was president till his death.
If you follow the constitution, and I know you do, what about this part of our United States Constitution as found in Article VI, paragraph 3, and states that:
". . . shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

I voted VERY important because it was important enough for the very FIRST administration we had to go en mass to St. Paul's Chapel immediately after the first inauguration and AS A GROUP dedicate this nation to Almighty God. Now tell me again how God has no place in our government!
Getting away from that solid foundation and into the immorality of secularism is why we are circling the drain and about to self-destruct. Pity so few know our TRUE history and what kept this nation strong for so many years.

Some seem to believe that atheists are morally challenged. What I've found is that Atheists are among the most moral people I've ever met and that the Christians are among the least moral. What I get from those moral Christians that have "Messed Up" is that "God has forgiven them, why can't you?"

I voted 'important' because so many people vote for their religion over politics and that is a very dangerous line to cross when considering the seperation of church and state. I am not religious in the traditional sense but because so many are, and are almost hatefully passionate about it, I vote based on the opposite of what these people would choose. Personally, I think all politicians should be atheists so they vote or what's right for the country instead of what's right "morally". Atheists dont care what god you do or don't worship so I think they're less likely to vote for shit because they feel "morally obligated". But that's just my opinion.
