All of them are bad and Ann's got a good point, greed and lust for power can easily kill us all long before disease will.
As a medical transcriptionist, I have to say I type far more notes on heart disease and dementia than cancer. Heart disease is in nearly every note I type on people over 40! I'm seeing early dementia more now than I did 5 years ago and in people in their 40s and 50s and not 70s+. Kidney issues are also on the rise from when I first started as an MT 12+ years ago.
Some may lay all that at the door of environmental issues or bad personal choices, but I think the core issue is a food supply so tampered with the nutrients we need are either bred out or processed out, plus too many chemicals used in the raising of animals, the processing of the meat, and the raising of the fruits and vegetables.
Ginny, saying I'm wrong isn't enough. You must elaborate. I stated a lot. Are you referring to the fact that some people continue to smoke? Some people stay in the sun without sunscreen? What? Perhaps you are wrong in thinking I'm wrong. Perhaps not. Show us.

Surprised greed or hatred not on hear...two huge diseases the way I see it. Hatred funded by greed will kill us all.
Cancer is a known entity. We know what causes it, we know how to cure most of it and most of us ignore all the information and continue to smoke, out in the sun without any sunscreen and do all the things we are not supposed to do. Alzheimer's is an unknown. We are not sure what causes it or how to keep from getting it. The vast majority of people with cancer recover or get it to go into remission. No one has recovered from Alzheimer's.
