So unfair :( They are both amazing!! Jason is my all-time favorite Idol but sadly I don't think he has a chance against Kris' Amazing rendition of 'Heartless!' Bummer!!

ITA Susan and Mo! Well said!! Jason's Hallelujah HAS stood the test of time. And why isn't Over the Rainbow up for voting in this competition? Both Jason's American Idol performance and his studio recording of OTR are AMAZING!

I wondered the same thing? Why wasn't "Over the Rainbow" included in the tourney? It and "Hallelujah" were Jason's two best performances and two of the most memorable ever performed on the idol stage. I was disappointed that it wasn't included.

Hated this pairing. Kris did exceptional that night. I think though in the long run,
that Hallelujah has stood the test of time and will always be one of the finest, interesting performances from American Idol. It was Jason Castro planting a flag for the singer/songwriter types. You don't need the glory notes to be a great singer. You don't need to reach the rafters, you only need to reach people. Jason Castro's performance touched a lot of people. Win or lose a poll, he's got one of the top Idol performances of all time. That said,
we haven't had a chance to vote for Some Where Over the Rainbow.

Two of my absolute favorites - I wish they weren't pitted against each other - hard to choose.

Why did you have to pair Kris with Jason??? I love both artists and songs, but, since Kris is my second favorite Idol (after Kelly), I had to vote for him. Jason was awesome on "Hallelujah", tho!!
