Theater should be enjoyed by all and not just those who have the cash to make it to NY. From one who sees shows several times a month and does go to NY every year, taking a friend to a movie to introduce them to theater is easier than dragging them to a production.
The more exposure to the arts the better. Art, beauty, and knowledge should be shared and made available to all. Take a look around, Facebook, iPhone, Lady Gaga, American Idol - HUGE money makers becuase they tap into as many people as they can.....
