I voted C&A because I'm in the mood for something a little crazy, but Ojhn's comments about HP are rediculous...he H-A-T-E H.P., but he's "never watched a single harry potter". Must be one of those cool cats that just has to hate it because it's big. I never watched them myself until last month, had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised.
The first three are fun and entertaining family flicks. The fourth matures a lot about halfway through, laying the groundwork for an Orwellian fifth and a reasonably epic sixth and seven-part one. I'm looking forward to seven-part two - not because I'm a HP fanatic, but because I watched the earlier films (it helps to watch the films before taking a love or hate position). They have a chance to make the series pretty epic if seven-two is what we're hoping for. It's been fun to see the series grow up and transition from kid films to an epic fantasy.

And of course the most ghetto-fied' fantasy movie out there is on the top-of-the-list! I have never watched a single harry potter - I mean come on! Way to go! You sir need to support America not the bloody brits! Honestly i would rather spend my time then watching Harry on pot! - O.k. sooo I voted Cowboys and aliens which _____ Looks like a great movie. I would think more ppl would also vote for Captain America and Horrible Bosses! I Support this message and "ALSO WHOM WOULDN'T HAVE WANTED TO OPEN WITH FUTILITY AGAINST THE DEADLY HALLOWS. THANKS FELLOW FANS" And to be honest i H-A-T-E H.P. P2. Oh and If you watch that worthless effort of nothing you should try watching a reall movie ( Lord of the rings ) . LORD OF THE RINGS IN 3-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SINCE COMICS SUCH AS STAR SPANGLED AND YOUNG ALLIES PUBLISHED BY TIMELY MARVEL IN THE 1940'S. CAPTAIN AMERICA (WHOM ALSO HAD HIS OWN COMIC) HAS SHINED BRIGHT AS A MYTHIC SUPERHERO. RESURRECTED TO SUPER STARDOM BY STAN LEE & JACK KIRBY IN THE 1960'S IN AVENGERS #4 WE AS UBER FANS HAVE BEEN LOYAL. ITS GREAT TO SEE A REAL FILM MADE ABOUT THIS BELOVED CHARACTER. FROM A CORNY STANDPOINT WHICH THIS ENTIRE COMMENT WAS , AN OPENING ON 9/11/11 WOULD HAVE BEEN IDEAL. BUT THAT WOULD HAVE MISSED THE COVETED SUMMER SPOT. ALSO WHOM WOULDN'T HAVE WANTED TO OPEN WITH FUTILITY AGAINST THE DEADLY HALLOWS. THANKS FELLOW FANS

Obviously when you look at this list of anticipated movies it is without a doubt a landslide for Harry Potter, but what about the Smurfs... I mean, come on, cowboys and aliens, really, the third top choice from this list???
