Morse isn't even a candidate? Same number of HR, two fewer RBI, higher BA, higher OPS, higher SLG, higher OBP, and saved Nats butts playing an outstanding 1B when LaRoche went down. To me it's a toss up between Morse and Espi. Omitting Morse is a serious oversight.

Drew Storen has 21 saves, 5 wins and 4 holds. That's 30 significant contributions out of the 44 wins the Nationals have. Anybody else that can make that claim?

It was hard but I have to go with our pitching and chose Drew Storen. While our defense is awesome and Danny E gets tons of credit for that, our pitching (especially the bullpen) has been what's kept us at .500 all season. Frankly, any of them could be the MVP.

It's Danny; not even close! Now we have another guy in addition to Zim we can turn to when an important game is close at the end. Dude's a gamer.
