    the funding can come from where it comes from now, gas taxes. and if we can spend trillions on wars, we surely can spend a couple billion on infrastructure.

    I agree with Linda, fund it with WHAT? If Jim's notions worked, the question would never have been raised in the first place.

    When you put people back to work you create taxes and that will pay for the improvements. Those people will spend their money to buy things and more jobs are created which puts more people to work and they will spend their money and so on and on and on. All that will help pay for the improvements. But, the good thing is that we get our infrastructure mended and it is paid for by just doing it.
