    The whole thing boils down to one thing. RESPECT! Not one of the people would have been shot if they had followed the lawful orders of the police officer involved.

    I disagree with Brian Davis. I think one way for the news media to keep up racial tension is to ignore events like this so they are not discussed and allowed to smolder until they explode.

    I find it funny that you are posing this question to an area that is appropriatly 98% white. We only have opinions on how we perceive treatment from law enforcement as white citizens.

    This is just one more way for the news media to keep up racial tension, bash police, and keep a burning fire fueled. The news media is this country's worst problem.

    The police are out of control in this country. They think there judge jury and executioner. Instead of protect and serve its now what did you do wrong

    I would like to vote "sometimes". Sometimes blacks are unfairly profiled and are addressed with disrespect. Sometimes defensive blacks trigger a confrontation by acting angrily aggressive. To try to generalize is unwise.
