A couple points on this...
These guys are entertainers not the police overseers of what is good or not good. People decide with their wallets.
Second most of the whack rappers you are mentioning are young artists with young fans. How many of us really had intelligent shit to say at a young age and how many people over 30 were going to listen anyways.
I'm kind of in the middle, but I voted for yes. An artist can't call out another artist EVERY time they were wack, cause that would be 1) a waste of time and 2) too much focus on another artist instead of improving oneself and letting actions speak louder than words. However, I like hearing rappers drop one liners that rip at others. It's part of the history of hip hop and needs to continue. I still remember how LL came back when Canibus got at him.

Hell yeah, call 'em out. I think that's part of the reason rap is on a so-called decline. Rappers let other rappers slide with that bullcorn content in the name of respecting the hustle. It's almost the same as if some dude robs me and I applaud his hustle even though it's obvious that he's a piece of shit. Hold these dudes accountable and the quality will rise.

side note. hood rachet rapper SHOULD NEVER RAP BATTLE. like young jezzy vs waka and gucci, they hardly made diss records but mostly made death threats to each other and jezzy put a hit out on gucci mane (lost respect for jezzy on this). you can look at it like this, two hood niggas in a club, one with expensive jordans on. one hood rat steps on his shoes and a nigga moment ensues. thats how most of this hood rappers rap battles turn out. instead of acting like a rapper and rapping they act like street monkeys and fight each other. again hip hop is dying :(
p.s. jezzy if you want something done right, do it yourself. you could of save our generation form this lizard face looking motha fucka and his alien vs predator looking friend

yes! there hasnt been a good battle since nas and jay. now a days rappers rap bout the same (the mainstream) skill level so to them its like it he sucks then i suck. that or they are scared they are going to get ripped lyrically and people will think they suck. except for lil wanye vs gille da kid.

I think since the master P days we as a people have been letting wack rappers and rhymes just blow over because we had some real rap out there. But now we have a overflow of subpar music which has become the norm. It just needs to be said Waka,Gucci,Soujah boy or, Lil B are Whore-rible!!!

Stop the hate. None of these rappers stay hot. They all change, and usually for the worse. My favorite rappers pissed on my dreams by selling out. So, who cares. Hatred need to stop hating and go find your own music. It's free out there. Stop whining and support you favorite artists. Plus, in general, rap sucks right now. TBGWT fo' life.

Why call out another rapper who is whack? The public knows whom they want to listen too. If I call out a rapper will he not make whack records, no! Blame the record company for putting out the garbage. If a rapper calls out another rapper he maybe a little jealous of the other because he maybe selling records. Now a days all you need is a catchy hook or a dumb ass dance (Dougie) and people will fall for it. I think I got all my periods this time.
