I think the president is doing his best to solve the problem of debt crisis. you can't get the resources for social programs like medicare, medicaid and social security without activating other financial resources like ending tax cuts to the rich and stop giving tax break to the oil and gas companies.
There is no alternative of not raising the tax break and it should be done at the cost of saving social entitlements as well as raising taxes to the high income group. If the congress does not act on it immediately, American people will get re grated for handling the majority of congress to the Republican and their position in 2012 will be worsen than anytime in the history.

"The three questions seem biased. It appears you want to elicit very specific responses from people. "

Duh. Of course the questions are biased toward the specifics of this poll. What is so damn hard to understand about that?

The three questions seem biased. It appears you want to elicit very specific responses from people. That does not help. Let me give an example. People watching the news during the debt crisis debate have seen many instances of anger and heated arguments on both sides. If you ask people about the president's demeanor, what do you expect the might respond? You can argue that the 57% response on the positive side proves the adequacy of your question. Really? I think it probably shows that most of those who, thus far, have responded to your poll are more sympathetic to the president. Moreover, probably many of them are not watching the news on a regular basis.
