How superior do you find the 5D mk2's video mode?

    What about build quality? Manual control? Firmware upgrades? The size of the chip in the 5D makes a big difference in the background - you see it in the side by side test of Dave's review (thanks for taking the time to do this by the way). I believe the T2i would be a good back up camera to have sitting in your bag, but I would not want to trade my 5DMkII for it.

    That's based on a professional photographer / film maker that shoots his cameras many hours per week and put's them into extreme environments, where I need to rely on them 100% of the time, since they earn me my living.

    For non-professional use, Dave has a good point. If you're camera dies on your vacation you will be sad, but it's not as bad as having a client wonder what kind of photographer you are if your equipment goes down on a professional shoot :)
