I'm looking forward to meeting you ladies at NSQG Quilt Show since I am a member. I always look for kits that are made up and then are offered for sale. I've been enjoying your blogs and your line of fabric with ideas of quilt designs. I also like smaller projects since I am a part time quilter. I also wish you the best at the show.

I went for patterns and notions, but reading Marjon's comment I realised that I really, really love Layer Cakes and Jelly Rolls as there's so much more choice of colours and patterns for the best part of a quilt and one doesn't need much more fabric to finish it. With LCs and JRs you get more different patterns in the same range than when buying FQs. Oh, and something else you didn't have on your list was Books! I'm a sucker for those even tho' there's probably only one pattern in each one that I want to make. Like stroking fabric in my stash I like looking thro' them to decide which quilt I'm going to make. I'll need to live to 200 at least to get them all finished, especially considering my UFO pile!
Thanks for the chance to vote and hope you do well at the show.

Since I am still new at all this I pick up patterns, and I love others work as well! This is a very bright and colorful line. Would be very fun to make something with!

I go for 1/2 yards of fabric and notions...but if there are Jelly Rolls I am totally lost.....

I voted for patterns. Most of us have a large stash at home and usually are just looking for accent or filler fabrics at shows...gotta support your local shop best, ya know..., but what catches my eye at shows are booths that have patterns for sale and have the quilts made up and on display. An odd thing that I've noticed about myself is that I never make a quilt anywhere close to the color scheme of the pattern and I have bought patterns that I'll never make simply because the display is in 30's or blue/yellow prints....yet, I've never made a quilt from either of those and don't even own much of that kind of fabric. Hmm, I wonder why.

Also, where do you see the crowds at shows...the booth doing demos! Show how to correctly hold a rotary cutter or how to use a cool looking ruler or a new notion. Everyone is curious right now about the new thermal marking pens. That would be interesting.

I already subscribe to your blog and have liked you on Facebook.
