Has your doctor ever mentioned the parallel between RA pain and your period?

I have made the same link regarding hormones and arthritis. I'm 46. I have been diagnosed at 13. I had no pain during pregnancy and now I'm approaching menopause, it's getting worse. I have started Methothrexate but I know that is not a cure. I would like to find a doctor that would agree to look into treatment related to hormones. Still trying. If you have any information, please let me know. I'm from Montreal.

I have had still's disease since age 3. I am now 50 years old and know with absolute certainty that I felt my healthiest during pregnancy. I developed amyloidosis after delivery and had plenty of complications, but while pregnant I felt like superwoman.....zero pain, zero inflammation, zero fever or rash. Simply a blissful time in my life.
