Yes, Yes, and Yes! There are NO down sides to the safe injection sites. Addicts, with or without these sites would shoot up anyway. By giving them a safe place to go where they can get clean equipment and counselling, there may be a chance for them to gain recovery.

This has been proven in B.C. I do not understand why we should not continue with a proven program in one province to the others.

This is an issue of health concerns. I would think it is safer to inject in a control environment than a back alley. However I doubt Harper cares, these people don't vote.
