In my opinion there will be 2 version, the LTE one witth OMAP and the GSM one with exynos, like GSII in USA.

I agree with above poster, for me it is also more about whether the phone runs stock Honeycomb or if it will be subjected to TouchWiz.

Honestly, I think it would be the opposite for me, I would be more likely to buy it if it had a newer TI OMAP processor

Exynos isn't an issue, as long as its some sort of next gen processor and graphics chip. The iPhone 4S is spanking the S2 in terms of gaming power, and its not really hardware related, because honeycomb is running amazing. If done right, ice cream sammich should be the king of mobile OS's

@Douglas I hope you mean CM8 because I wouldn't go backwards on an open android version for Cyanogenmod. I bet the team doesn't even bother with a port.

Just because its not clocked to 1.5 Ghz doesn't mean its going to be slow. We all know that clock speed isn't everything, and while I'd love to see a 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core beast, 1.2 Ghz or 1 Ghz is plenty. Don't forget that battery matters, and we'll see a significant performance increase for all dual-core phones that get to run 4.0 (assuming it has hardware acceleration and proper dual-core support).

CM7 will always be an option. The question isn't if CM7 will be available on this, the question will be how long. I'd guess it'll be running CM7 within a day or two.

and what about the battery ?

I wish there were more choices. It's not so much the "dual-core" vs "Exynos" issue that I'm as concerned about. It's the "vanilla Android on Verizon". I don't want crapware/bloat. And THAT is the selling point to me, for the Nexus Prime.
