Some movies just need to be left alone, and this was one of them. What's next remake Dirty Dancing! They are starting to go a little too far with the remakes...no mater how modern this new spin on Footloose is it will never touch Kevin Bacon as Ren McCormick, Lori Singer as Ariel and loads of other wonderful cast members. Also the original had such a great soundtrack! The new one will just not live up to the original.
