I grew up watching Norm and Roy on PBS and I've always tried to build things. From Pine wood derby car to trucks and tanks for my GI Joes. in Jr High I built a table (3.5x3.5) and couch out of 2x4s and playwood for my bed room for playing pen and paper RPG games. I've been building on and off ever sense, now in my mid 30s I have a dedicated shop space and building when ever I can.

I think I began woodworking before I was born, my grandpa and father did it. I helped them not because I wanted but because I had to do it. I really didn't like it then.
At college in Chicago I had a chance to work restoring Victorian houses in the North Shore , then I discovered that I knew what I was doing. After returning to Costa Rica I setup shop and been working with wood ever since.

I took shop in Jr. High and did construction of two houses in the few years after that . . then nothing till 7 years ago when I was 55 .. . does this skew the curve????
